Prof. Dr. Häring from Johannes-Wesling Hospital, Minden presented care strategies based on case history of multiple revised hip replacement patients. One of the conclusions in addition to the known  problems from the expert discussion was that it is sensible to think of any necessary subsequent revision during the initial operations.

During the visit aspects and inications which are based on the JWK-Minden were discussed. The logistic-sheme was received with large interest by the guests. The optimal care is chosen depending on the personal situation of the patient. This strategy is part of the German program “Endocert Max”.

This is the highest award in Germany for a clinic to reach in endoprosthesis care.
